South Melbourne Biz Hub – Stage 2

Stage 2 South Melbourne Biz Hub interior refurbishment works included a much needed refresh of the main entry foyer from both street and carpark interfaces and lift lobby to bring the spaces in line with the Stage 1 works. Among other improvements the works to the lift lobby incorporated a digital directory board with QR code linking to a new online directory for the 50+ businesses and allowing tenancies for lease or sale to be advertised in one location. This has resulted in greater visibility, up to date information of other businesses in the building and further B2B opportunities. To minimise cost and disruption, a light touch, non structural interventions were employed. Where possible we reused existing interior elements with a new finish or updating fittings with sustainable and technologically up to date alternatives.  Redefining of the function and aesthetic of the interior spaces has added value for owners, investors and businesses alike. This has been evident in the very low vacancies post refurbishment, consistent positive feedback from businesses and guests to the building and activated and social common areas without the noise complaints.
